First Time Traveller: How Can I Book A Local Flight In Nigeria? by PersonalDiary(op): 10:22am On Dec 18, 2022
Hello Guys, it's my first time traveling by air. Pls what's the best website or way to book a local flight plus what are the requirements for it as my international passport is not ready yet cos of my agent's dirty attitude.

Pls I need to book this flight very fast as I need to make an emergency travel to South East by Tuesday for my my granny's burial. Pls I need guidance from gurus in this forum.

Most of the information online is confusing, and wakanow has lots of bad reviews on Playstore, So I'm just confused to be honest.

Thanks!!!

Any ID card would do. You can book straight from the airline website. What state are you traveling to and what date do you intend to travel?? I can check for you and show you the range of options available for you as at today for that Tuesday. But what state. Current location and destination.

For South east, your preferred choice is airpeace.

But mind you, buying a ticket asap is going to be super expensive (roughly N150k going and N70k going back for airpeace).

https://www.flyairpeace.com

If you're going to Enugu, I'll suggest Dana airlines.

The price is pretty moderate for Enugu only.

It's up to you.

Good luck and safe journey.

And may your grandmother's soul rest in peace.

Modified: I just checked flights from Abuja to Owerri, all the airlines are sold out for Tuesday except Dana air.

Cost is N80k going (I didn't check return ticket because it will be cheaper)

Airpeace, Green Africa, United Nigeria, and Dana air go to Owerri; at least those are the ones I am aware of. For Tuesday, 20th. The only available one is Dana Air, and it's 80,000 as of now. https://secure.flydanaair.com/bookings/flight_selection.aspx

Alternatively, you can use Green Africa, but then the flight is for tomorrow. It is currently at #61,500. https://www.greenafrica.com/en-us/

You have to understand, that in the next hour, Dana Air and Green Africa, may no longer be available as well. Or the price may have gone higher. So, be timely about your decision. You can easily book by yourself on the website.
