if he had sense, he would have cleaned up anambra drains during the pre raining season so as to avoid flooding in he state but mumu didn't, he wants to clean up lagos own this dry season. lagosians are realistic and are way ahead thinkers, they already drained their gutters before raining season so the flooding was very minimal ther talk about real and misplaced priorities |

DesChyko:A broom does not require labour to exist. It is labour that requires a broom. Brooms are made for labour, not labour for brooms. So labour needs broom, broom does not need labour. |
| Re: Obidients Cleaning Up Lagos Drains by DesChyko: 12:44pm On Dec 18, 2022 |
BluntTheApostle:Is that so? How was the broom made? |
| Re: Obidients Cleaning Up Lagos Drains by BluntTheApostle(m): 12:47pm On Dec 18, 2022 |
DesChyko:It doesn't matter how the broom was made. What matters is that the broom benefits labour, not the other way. Clothes benefit us, we don't benefit clothes. Labour needs broom, broom does not need labour. Whether broom exists or not, it doesn't concern the broom. But labour needs broom to exist. |
| Re: Obidients Cleaning Up Lagos Drains by DesChyko: 1:04pm On Dec 18, 2022 |
BluntTheApostle:How would something exist if it was not made? You clearly misunderstood the context of that sentence but that's fine. No one's perfect. |

DesChyko:What is existence to you? The person I quoted said "the broom requires " How can the broom require labour when labour does not benefit it. Labour made broom, but the existence of the broom benefits labour, and not the broom. So, the broom does not need labour. It is labour that needs the broom. Whether the broom exists or not makes no difference to the broom, but it makes all the difference to labour. So, it is labour that requires a broom. A broom does cannot require labour. Making a broom requires labour, but the broom itself does not require labour. It is like saying clothes require man. That is a problematic statement. When man makes clothes, he is not benefiting clothes by bringing clothes into existence. He is benefiting himself. So, it is man that requires clothes. Clothes don't require man. |

BluntTheApostle:This is all I'm saying to be honest. |
| Re: Obidients Cleaning Up Lagos Drains by BluntTheApostle(m): 5:38pm On Dec 18, 2022 |
DesChyko:But that was not a sufficient response to the guy you originally quoted. Symbolically, labour and indeed all of us need broom (APC) . |
