After The Presidential Polls: Likely Events In NL Political Section by Aiel123: 8:34am On Dec 20, 2022
Argentina just won the world cup, igniting an endless verbal war, draggings, argument and counter arguments, hate filled infested threads countlessly now home to the sports section, among many other viles and unspeakable actions... Overwhelming joy and gloominess between the Messi-Ronaldo's divide summed up the happenings in the sports section because of the singular event of 20 September to 18 December. It has further pitted humans against humans ,NL against NLders.
Now considering the volatile and violence ridden nature of NL political section in the run up to Nigeria general elections,I have come to conclusion that whatever happens after February 25,the scenario playing out now in the sports section will be child's play compared to what will happen in the political section. We all know what happened after APC's presidential primary...
The endless verbal denigrating online wars and hateful banters...
This from my opinion is what NL will look like after February 25.
If ATIKU wins
There will be small pockets of vawulence as Atikulators are not too much here and they still have their civility intact to some extent.
If OBI wins
Obidients will saturates the media space and pour down fire and brimstone on their most vicious opponents. The obidients actions and behavior here leaves little to be desired
If TINUBU wins
"Second NL war" erupts, much more greater than the one that ensued after the primaries.
On a serious note,it very sad that politics has divided too many people, pitted Nigerians against Nigerians.

How do you know their tribe?
Besides,it was among what I stated earlier.
That you don't like and won't vote for a candidate does not mean you should ridicule mock or demean his personality...If you want to criticize,at least it should be down constructively.
The toxicity in the political section is too much.

We'll never learn.
Attacking a candidate online doesn't stop either his defeat or victory.
Use your head.

Just what the Op stated earlier, you have brought tribalism into every thread on nairaland. I am not Igbo but I support peter Obi,in my community in pH we have very few tinubu supporters and they have the right to because most of them are in APC.
