If that was a baby that's how you would have ran over the poor child? Your driving licence needs to be revoked, with 6 months in jail for carelessness and negligence.

Yes, because its an innocent dog and you may have to come to terms to settle it...

It may not be your fault because you couldn't see what was behind ur car... but it's also your responsibility as you are the one driving the car...

It's probably his responsibility to restrain another person's animal, I presume? I didn't read here that the dog was in its cage or on leash or any restraint.
