That is true, but bear in mind that delivery normally suffers delay during major promos and festive seasons due to backlog of orders arriving the country on a daily basis, and needed to be cleared.

hello, just recently got a gtb Mastercard and i am having payment issues on AliExpress. is there an activation that needs to be done for payment to go through?

There's no special activation to make the card work. The reason it's being rejected is that you're using the card for the first time on Aliexpress mobile. Log onto the desktop version of Aliexpress using a pc and then make your payment there. You'll be surprised to see 'successful payment' message. Thereafter, you can continue using the card for subsequent payments on your mobile phone. But ensure that it's already saved on the website.

This error code ralates to name mismatch. In the 'card holder's name' box, ensure that the name inputed is as reflected on the Debit card (the exact name printed on the debit card).
Besides, note that you can't spend more than 20dollars/month on your card.

You load your virtual dollar card at the prevailing exchange rate. I loaded mine at ₦765 yesterday. Today's rate is ₦766.

You load 10USD, you get to spend 10USD.

The only available option is using virtual card, and it's not cheap because you will be charged at black market rate.
