I still don't understand how this ball came out offside
They will come back and apologize the ref got it wrong
The 2 matches we dropped points were controversial
Against man u we had a legit goal ruled out, against soton Jesus was dragged to the floor in the box 18 several times with nothing given

They keep trying to test our water level but we move

I doubt if we have plans to buy a midfielder this one that Elneny is back from injury and we still have Awilo Logomba on our bench also. Arteta saying we won't buy players who are not needed at the club gives me a kinda vibe that he's not going all out for a midfielder.

Even if we buy it will be in preparation for next season. From the body language of the club managers, Elneny is Partey's backup for this season, but after this his contract will not be renewed. So a midfielder will be signed in the summer, or in Jan if a special opportunity comes.

Our next two matches are vs Brighton & Newcastle; two great attacking teams. If we beat the two of them, I might start considering us as title contenders. I will assume the only threat we have is Man City and the Norwegian Giant playing as striker for them.

On a side note, I seek for forgiveness for ever wishing we signed Maddison of Leicester instead of Odegaard . Odegaard na agba baller! I think Arteta Knows the kind of player he wants and those players aren't disappointing him also.

You see the bold i no fear city but that guy gangan i feel none of our cb can handle
Kdb, foden etc are all stoppable we can see them as ordinary in WC

For that odegaard maddison saga i am in same shoe, don't forget madives as been in and out of injury plus the team he's playing for didn't buy
I can judge the 2 if he go to newcastle but atm i will pick omo ologo odegaard our captain

Shaktar wants to cash out big. Should Arsenal keep fighting for him or back out.

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera:
My thoughts on our Win against West Ham

1... I know I've talked about the mentality of these guys more often than not but who noticed the mentality shift when Saka scored the equalising goal?
To put it more simply, when last did you see an arsenal player score an equalising goal yet refuse to celebrate instead he ran into the net to pick the ball for a quick restart as if we're losing? Also, when have you ever seen our team do such as early as the 53rd minute?

What this means is that these players have already agreed within themselves that anything less than a win will never be condoned at all. Once a team have this kinda winning mentality, then know that it'll be very very difficult to stop them and it's a good thing to see my club having such a mentality and attitude. What a great time to be an arsenal fan indeed!! cool

2... Does this team make you remember the great(prime) Barca under Pep. Please don't misconstrue me; I'm not saying they're as good as them or the players' quality are like the Barca own but just try and watch. The "6- seconds" ball recovery, pressing and forcing of opposition mistakes (or making them clear the ball straight to us) is something this team seemed to have mastered this season. No wonder we've dominated teams as that's one of the key attributes of dominant teams

3... Who noticed our attackers are more and more ambipedal by the day. The goal Saka scored(which was correctly ruled out for offside) was with his right foot. The way he played it, one would think he's a right footer. Then the goal Martinelli scored was with his left foot. Because Martinelli was able to use his left foot, he was able to fool Coufal and the keeper who were both thinking he'll shift onto his right foot to take the shot or curler thereby giving him(Martinelli) that time and space to unleash that shot with his left. Such unpredictability from our wingers (using the left feet when the right feet is man marked and vice versa) makes us have one of the best double wingers in the division (if not top 2). That is the work of extra coaching by Arteta and the staff and I really commend them for that.
Checkout Saka's goal against Leeds, Martinelli goal against Leicester and Xhaka's goal against Southampton.

4... Odegaard was the heart of everything good for us and I'm glad most people are finally seeing how good and creative he is. But there's another thing I've been noticing about his leadership qualities that most people are oblivious of. Before the game started (just before kickoff), Odegaard went up to Nketiah, gave him a hug(and some words of encouragement/belief). When Nketiah scored the third goal, just before Westham did their kickoff, Odegaard still went up to Nketiah and gave him a hug again. Such show of demonstration by a captain always gives confidence to player(s) knowing fully well that the team is behind them and support them also. It might look like a small thing but those who know much about human management knows how great such an act can do to a person esp In Nketiah shoes. Odegaard also did such kind acts to Saliba(when he did the own goal against Leicester) and to Gabriel (when he did the error against Fulham). Though it wasn't a hug but a handshake and pat in the back. No wonder he's one of the most loved in the dressing room after Saka and why he was easily made captain even though he isn't that Vocal.

4... I've always believed that Nketiah will be an able deputy to Jesus and he proved it right. I loved the way he always drop deep to help in our transition, he movements, pressing and other facets of play he showed against West Ham. And if you think his all-round game was great, watch his goal. The turn to evade his marker and shot suppose be contender for EPL goal of the month. I'm just happy we won't be thinking of any panick striker buy cos of Jesus injury. I've always believed that If Nketiah could do it without some of our key players out last season (when scoring 5goals in 8matches), then we have no cause for alarm when we're even stronger this time than last season. Kudos to him!!

5... I know very few defender as cool, calm and level headed as White in this EPL while still dishing out 8/10 performances and trust me they're very very few. Our current player of the month is indeed one of the most underrated players in the league.

Still top of the League, still 5 points clear, still the only team to have a 100% winning record at home and the only team to have scored in every single match in EPL.

Upwards and onwards!!!
Brighton next!!

COYG!!!!

Balo scored a brace last night he's among the top scorers in ligue 1
You see why I don't want us to sign striker this January
Initially when this guy was going on loan I proposed 2 years loan unless we are going to give him opportunity next season which I doubt

We should pay 50m sign on fee and 25m in add ons depending how our season fares with him. He's never worth 75m sign on fees in my own opinion.
