I hear some Anambra refugees that migrated to Yorubaland few years ago on this response thread. They speak Yoruba but lack knowledge of Yoruba culture. To those people I say, Awa arawa mo ra!

Floret, look, Yoruba marks events and calendars in ways that are unique.

Shortly before his death Barrister had a song in which he eulogized some celebrities. This was back when celebrity status carried weight, and it wasn't too long ago.

In that eulogy he praised Tinubu at 45. How long ago that Barrister died? Do the math.

Yoruba culture existed before Sahara Reporters, and our values subsist till today as a marker for many social and even political histories.

Anambra people must be really proud of the recognition given to the state during this campaign season just because obi is an aspirant.
