This is according to resident, Civilian JTF, and military sources. The incident occured at about 12:00pm in Faduma Koloram zuwa ward of Gubio local government area of Borno state today, Tuesday afternoon killing 69 persons, set the village ablaze and rustle thousands of their livestook. Meanwhile the Borno state Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has since gone to the village to ascertain the level of the destruction. What you see happening in the north with all this wanton bloodletting is not only the result of karma, but also the result of being to too ‘smart’ for your own good in your lust for power and trying to keep others away from it! I believe all those new Fulani settlements we’re seeing in the south-east are those of Fulani running away with their families from the mess they’ve turned the north into, to seek relative peace and tranquility in the land of the ‘nyamurees’ that they’ve demonised, marginalised, murdered and hounded from the 50s to date! Compare the relative peace of Abakaliki to the hell on earth that is Katsina or Maiduguri and you’d understand why it’s hard to arrive at any conclusion other than the fact they’re now getting their comeuppance! 1 Like |
