The Special Assistant on Digital Communications to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad has dropped a hint on the candidate the aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors (G5) will be supporting for the 2023 presidency.

Ahmad, who is the Deputy Director, Special Media Projects/New Media, of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) suggested the G5 Governors would be supporting Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

He stated this in a short statement via his Twitter account on Thursday, 29th December where he said the offer put forward by the five Governors was fantastically positive.

He added that the offer will seal the expected victory for the APC presidential candidate.

Ahmad wrote: “The offer put forward by the five governors was fantastically positive. That will definitely help us to seal our eminent victory in 2023. Let’s do it together.”

Sure! Wike and co will surely deliver their mandates to the Labour Party except there is further change in the political permutations. I am not disputing your assertion.

What I am disputing is the utter shamelessness of the APC in standing in waiting to poach or harvest the votes of PDP governors whom they have accused their former central government of ocastrating their imaginary propaganda of "16 years of wastage" which they APC's 8 years of catastrophic governance have now dwarfed.

The G5 or whatever you call then will be dumb as hell to support anyone else. It's plain and obvious even to the blind that Tinubu has the best chance of winning the election.
It's only common sense to align with the candidate with the best chance of winning.
I'm sure that Ortom would rather support Obi simply because he's a religiuos fanatic himself, so don't b3 surprise of he align with Obi eventually.

At the end of the day, the damage is done 5o Atiku already. With or without their support, Tinubu is poised to win.

Certainly the G5 will choose to go with tinubu than go with obi

The chance of tinubu with the G5 winning is very much higher than G 5 with obi and the future political relevance of the G5 is tie to the winning of the presidential election

Rubbish, that would be political suicide for the likes of Makinde and Orton as they would be jeopardizing their own elections under PDP, at least, LP does not have strong candidates for their own positions
