The amount of cash in £ and $ they carry with them as they frequently jet out of he country, would shock you. Those cash comes from CBN, no bank can gibe out such humongous cash, all sealed.

Their children and relatives are here in the UK. They bring cool Pounds to them all the way from Naija, they don't have to withdraw cash. They are big boys and girls here. We see each other and they are part of the laundry process.

Zenith Bank is worse than useless.

6 days is even better. Zenith bank send me alert of over 4 months with a huge credit balance. Na so I was happy not knowing that it was a past transactions made and money don finish for long.

Nigeria has suffered an importation-fuelled foreign exchange crisis for years, but the scarcity worsened in 2021 with its export proceeds declining amid increaed supply for foreign exchange. The dollar exchanges for naira at about 440 a dollar at the official market and N740 a dollar at the parallel market.

As of December 28, Nigeria’s foreign reserve fell to $37billion, compared to $37.1 billion recorded as of November 28.

Naira card is cheaper to use against dollar card. The option that favors naira most is using naira card to get dollar at a cheaper rate.
Now that they have stopped the use of naira card, people will be forced to buy dollar at black market rate which will further increase the demand for dollar and increase in the price of dollar

you couldn't have described the bank in a better way! Each time I want to initiate a transaction from my Zenith account these days, na.so my heart go just de cut anyhow!

Virtual dollar cards or using exchanger's services is the way to go now. There must be a way out.
