Advantage is element of surprise when used to initiate a conflict, post that potency is lowered once alarm is raised and defender deploys countermeasures in force

And but than again by deploying drones enmasse the alerted countermeasures can be overwhelmed

Than one feasible counter option remains ie shift from defense to offense, mount own counter strike by drones

So you don't get bogged down in the impossible task of defending against drones , best make sure the enemy gets disproportionate share of your pain

Basically what I am trying to say is practically more pr less impossible to defend all the time against drones , only way to counter drones in go on offense using own drones
