Focus: God will not forsake you.

The word for today 
When everything in the world appears not to be working for you, be mindful of the fact that God will work for you. Do not hesitate to go to God in every situation of life!

When all the world rejects or forsakes you, God will never give up on you, no matter what. The Bible verse revealed the personality of God in that he accepts the unacceptable and the helpless. Sometimes, it seems practically impossible for a father or mother to forsake their child, but situations in life make it happen. Hence, whenever it looks as if you are forsaken, the only place to turn is to God.

The Prodigal Son understood this fact, and he turned to the Father when the journey became rough. He knows the Father as a man who is loving and caring, hence, he turned to him. Even if you are an offender with several loads of sins, God will never give you up to death; he will have mercy on you if you repent from your evil ways. Life has revealed that we can be forsaken by people who ought to stand as fathers and mothers when it matters most. Hence, we must always turn to God, who promised never to leave us nor forsake us in all situations.

Where do you turn in times of trouble?

Lord! Please help me to always turn to you in all situations in Jesus' name. Amen!

False. I understand you are trying to encourage people but it is high time we stop posting messages like this that flatter the ear of people.
Let us try and be realistic in our messages. We should let people know that it is not in all cases that God comes flying to the rescue like superman. In some cases he will laugh and scorn at you because you refused to heed to his call to have wisdom. In other words, we should let people know that our actions has consequences so if you behave stupidly and put yourself in big trouble be prepared to face that trouble on your own. God will not save you. In fact he will laugh at you.

Proverbs 1:24-28

Because you refused my call, and no one took my outstretched hand, because you neglected all my counsel, and wanted none of my correction, in turn I will mock your calamity; I will sneer when terror strikes you, when your dread comes like a storm, and your destruction like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish overwhelm you. So long as it is possible for God to forsake one, the statement is false.

It is man who knows the will of God and do otherwise. Even when we mess up, He still accept us and give us another chance!

But your claim that God does not forsake anyone isn't true! For instance, God cursed(forsook) His own Israel as He promised He would back in the Old Covenant - Deuteronomy 30 vs 1 - 6. They could no longer be saved by the following of the Old Covenant even if they tried because He had already forsaken/cursed— ejected them from benefiting from that Law— by Him from that agreement. That is why He then sent Jesus Christ, a new agreement and path to salvation and eventually righteousness, to redeem those amongst them who were forsaken by Him in His Old Law. And Jesus Christ did state that there are curses to follow those who set themselves against God in His Kingdom. So, if one chooses to live cursed in this new Law, what other paths of redemption are there for such a one?

Only those who stand faithful will not be forsaken/cursed, those who enter into the Kingdom of God but sit as enemies risk being forsaken/cursed — Jesus Christ made that known in His Gospel.
