An insider source within the pro-Biafra group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has revealed that the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, is secretly behind the continuous illegal detention of Onye ndu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The source hinted that the fear of Mr. Peter Obi and the Western world is not unconnected with Mr Peter Obi's perceived likely negative effect the release of the Biafran leader could have on his chances in the Southeast, where he hopes to amass votes.

The desire of the people of the former breakaway region of Biafra, the Igbos to produce Nigerian President amidst the unwritten post civil war policies designed to keep the Igbos in check and to deny them a shot at the highest position in the land since after the fratricidal civil war that ended on 15th January, 1970 has continued to agitate the people of the region.

You should know that Buhari has no intention to release MNK until his tenue expires. He has been using every flimsy excuses through his AG to continuous keep him in detention. Nigerians have recently heard Buhari saying he was pained by mischievous people calling him Jubril El-Sudani.

In fact if possible for him he would want to have him incarcerated beyond May, 2023.

Nnamdi saving grace would be Peter Obi. Even as a candidate and at the detriment of loosing Northern and Yoruba Muslim support, he has vehemently refused to tag IPOB as a terrorist organisation. He told anyone that cares to listen that he would dialog with all agitators. He stood his ground at the Arewa conference and his solid stand on the matter has made ATIKU and TINUBU to also commit to dialog if they become the president.

I also heard Kwankwaso making the same commitment.

With the foregoing, MKN is likely going to be released shortly after election or the next government would release him from custody.
