Please do. That phone is too old.
-weak battery (and you can't even get a genuine battery nowadays for that model)
- you can't even update to more recent versions of ios
- the camera is way below par
- it has 1gb or ram and with the heavier apps on appstore it will be freezing or shutting down apps in the background.

I have not been able to use my 9ja cards to purchase ICloud storage because it keeps declining them all.

I learnt most banks have suspended their international transactions on debit cards.

What other options are available to me? I need to purchase this storage so I can back up my WhatsApp before downloading and restoring in a new phone.

I'm in the same situation. Someone said uba card still works, don't know if that's true.

I've rectified my card issues.
I registered with chipper cash and transaction has been extremely smooth. I've been making use of their virtual USD and Naira cards.
The only problem is that the dollar exchange rate is slightly higher than black market though it depends on how much naira you convert from your chipper wallet into your virtual USD card.

What's the process? They have an app on appstore?

Yes , you download the app.
Register with your phone number and email.
After which they'd confirm your account when you've taken a selfie and uploaded as directed on the app.
You'd then be given an account number for your chipper Wallet.
To get a chipper ($ & ₦) virtual card you'd be asked to confirm your identity once again by inputing your phone number, verifiable address and either your NIN Slip, drivers licence or voters card. Once it's verified , you'd have your virtual dollar and naira card.
The process it quite easy if you've got all the details I mentioned.
You can have your card within 24hrs

They are showing that my account has been verified. Although they only asked for my bvn for that, not voters card or NIN. Secondly how do I get the chipper account and card? I'm a bit confused as to what step to take next.

When you log into the app , at the bottom left you'd see where it's written claim your card , click on that bottom left to begin the process of claiming your virtual card. It's when you want to go claim your card that they'd ask for either voters card, drivers license or NIN. you'd also be asked to verify your number there.

OK yea I'm at that stage now. But they are asking for passport, NIN and drivers license. Unfortunately I only have my voters card with me. Maybe when I go back my Base in umuahia I will use either my passport or NIN (I have both of them too).
