As they got flagged Running is the first option very easy when it is a motorcycle.you just stop at a distance and run I to the bush and leave exhibit for police If you have witnessed police check point drama you will be surprised how porous some roads are for some people to just run into the bush |

Once again they don't post pictures of the northern criminals. But if it's so called IPOB members, they'd be quick to post all kinds of photographs. Just a keen observation |

baretalk:since you have been born how many times have you head such stories from checkpoints in Nigeria and how many times have you heard innocent people killed at checkpoints We cannot draw logical conclusions about the utility of checkpoints from one incident Checkpoints can be a useful tool if you have well trained professional s Let us not forget that kidnappers too mount fake checkpoints too. In 2023 we need more technology like drones coordinating with patrols One must question how it is that all of them escaped but they recovered guns and money I don't believe it |

Enemies of the nation will be here condemning checkpoint, they are kidnappers and armed robbers in nairaland, legitimate Nigerians must not allow the voice of the terrorist and armed robbers on nairaland override their voice. Checkpoint and tollgate is good for security and to checkmate the movement of guns, kidnappers and terrorists. God bless Nigerian army. |
| Re: Police Recover Arms, Ammunition, $255,000 From Fleeing Suspects In Kwara by baretalk: 8:20pm On Jan 01, 2023 |
tabaralph:Kidnapper spotted, Nigerians so many kidnappers on nairaland, they use nairaland to confuse foolish innocent Nigerians to turn them against the police and army, they want a nation ridden with criminality, where they can kill, kidnap at will. |

baretalk:Happy New Year I pray your literacy and comprehension of English improves by year end. I am not opposed to checkpoints where proven to be effective . If necessary they should be deployed but they must not be tollgates and kill innocent people. They must be supported by 2023 technology :intelligence. patrols and drones. This story is not evidence for or against checkpoints as you seem to assert. It needs analyss.I wonder how no one was arrested or shot . Did they fire bullets ? How many? Were they carrying radio?.Did they have backup on audio? How do they communicate with base? Communications are key. I I remember the murdered pregnant woman and ask how come they escaped without bullets fired?if that is the story |

Despite all the stree about NIN we still won't hear how it has ever helped our law enforcement agencies to fish out the kinds of criminals it was intended for. |

omonnakoda:Honestly I don't know why our security and law enforcement agencies are not using drone technology to aid in monitoring criminal activities. |
| Re: Police Recover Arms, Ammunition, $255,000 From Fleeing Suspects In Kwara by AreaFada2: 9:39pm On Jan 01, 2023 |
tabaralph:If they had killed them, they would have taken all the money and totally hide the whole event. In a remote border area, for such an amount, they would kill people, take the money and hide the incident even if no evidence of crime. For less amount sef. The money is probably more than they declared but the kidnappers/their errand boys are at large. |
