Ikwerres Will Suffer In The Future by Makavelli001(op): 8:37am On Jan 02, 2023
With what Gov. Wike is doing, it is certain that it will take more than 5 Decades for an ikwerre man to become Rivers State governor again. Wike doesn't really know the implications of what he is doing. Tribes in Rivers state are really disgusted of wike attitude.

I have been saying this repeatedly...

It is so ironical the Ikwerres who were previously sidelined in Rivers politics are not using the opportunity presented to them by democracy to build bridges among other ethnic nationalities in Rivers State ...

The people who will suffer will be their children and future generations...

they still have majority voting population in rivers, they have the power to make kings so no matter what they do, they can dictate who will be governor.

I was about writing this.

However, Wike is fair by ensuring that his successor is not Ikwerre.

Ikwerre will return to Rivers State government house after 8 years.

Am not sure. The two major LGA - Port Harcourt City and Obio Akpor are 70% non indegenes.

Wike caged Rivers Politics around Ikwerre people as it stands now.

If they are non indigenes you believe they will go against the interest 9f their host?.
Come to think of it what has Wike done wrong?
Rivers State is such that you can't do without the Ikwerres unfortunately.

Government is a continuum.

Wike will certainly leave the stage for someone else.

His successor will do whatever he likes.

Our institutions are just too annoyingly weak that governors do whatever they like and get away with it.

This Is Not Time To Play Politics, It's Time To Save Nigeria, Millions Are Dying, Save Lives, Save Nigerians

A Yoruba adage warns that the sweet food in your mouth should not make you forget the bitterness of hunger. Now the politicians are giving you 2000 Naira, some giving you some cups of rice so you can lose your precious future, your PVC. Hmmm! How many times did they give you seven years ago while your were crying around? Use your brain. Don't allow them deceive you and kill you later. Don't vote Tinubu. He is a big thief. He is not honest and above all he is old and sick. His party APC has caged Nigeria. Don't vote Atiku, his party has not made life easier.
Vote a new party that you believe will do something different. Let your vote speak your heart, your conscience. Even if the candidate doesn't win, you will be happy you have followed your conscience and done what is right. Stand on your feet and don't allow their noise carry you away. This is the time to save Nigeria. Vote right, choose right. Election is for mature people, not gullible adults.

Gibberish. The Ikwerre people will continue to decide who rules Rivers State in the next 50 years. Ikwerre land hosts the 75% of the non-indigenousgroups in Rivers State. Of these groups, Igbos are about 50%, Akwa-Cross 30% and the remaining 20% cut across other nationalities. Guess what! The three dominant non-indigenous groups have the same voting pattern with the Ikwerre. Forget what you read on Nairaland, Ikwerre and Igbo are the same politically if you have been to Port Harcourt and Ikwerre people are using the voting strength of the Igbos to their advantage. I believe it's one of the reasons Peterside lost in 2015 because no Igbo or Akwa-Cross could vote for APC.

yes they’ll return after 8 years.

for ikwerre to rule rivers for 24 years uninterrupted, should tell you they are the “northerners” of rivers state

odili, amaechi and wike sum up 24 years back to back ruling.

they can’t do it if they’re not that strong.

unless rivers is divided into two states; riverine and upland states

out of 100 years, ikwerre will rule 88 years.

the non indigenes are mostly igbos and akwa-cross people.

igbos and akwa ibom are PDP lovers even back in their states. they are controlled by pdp. so they join ikwerre people to vote in pdp every year, aside from the fact ikwerre people dominate indigenous population of rivers state.

When did you conduct this your census? The reason these analysis don’t work is because they’re false. Besides, are aliens precluded from voting?

Ikwerre people of Niger Delta, can you see what this refugee tribe is wishing for your people? They are wishing you suffering in future.

Igbos suffered during civil war, today Igbos are still suffering, in fact, they are the almajiris of the South; and they will continue to suffer but they won't talk about their sufferings. They won't talk about how to save their tribe from generational suffering but na Ikwerre future-impossible tense suffering matter them carry for stomach like cocaine.

Anyways, you can only try this nonsense rubbish with Ikwerre people, and can never try it with Ijaw people because we don't condone rubbish from our slaves. undecided

That is a lazy and hasty conclusion to draw...

The voting population is important now because Ikwerres are wielding power...

When they lose power you will understand that three or four LGs cannot determine the direction of 17 others...

Today the Etches, Ogonis, Kalabaris, Ekpeyes, Ijaws, Ndonis and other subgroups are there united to prove a point to Ikwerre latter-day domineering disposition...

Nothing like that. Wike only had presidential ambition and thought going against the Igbos would give him national acceptance. It has backfired and he's already fallen back to his alliance with the Igbo. Take a look at his G-5, he is glued more to his neighbours from the east than others.
