My dear, it's only broke men that take to their heels. Rich men don't take to their heels because of billings not to talk of ordinary #384k.

One of my Major resolution this year is avoiding broke & wretched men. They have absolutely nothing to offer in life.

Shior!!

This is clearly a scam being run by officers in the hospital. Referring patients to private clinics they own. The family chose a public hospital.

This is predatory exploitation and I hope there is proper intervention into this matter.

Nigerians are our own biggest problem. It is a keke operator who clearly has no money that you saw to finesse.

How can a General hospital be referring people to private hospital when we're not in war or a natural disaster? Some of these doctors actually run these private clinics. The money should be paid but the management of that hospital be arrested for kidnap.

Meanwhile, Delta State governor Ifeanyi Okowa, a medical doctor, has spent billions to buy PDP VP ticket, and is pouring in more billions to fund the campaign. Yet babies have no bed space in government general hospitals in his state. Shame!!!!!

Quite ridiculous that a whole General Hospital will refer one of newly born twins to a Private Clinic because of lack of bed space.

Won't be surprised the private clinic is owned by a doctor in the General hospital, or the owner is a close ally of someone in the General Hospital.

Anyway I'm sure some benevolent Nigerian will offset the bill.
Or some child-seeking religious person may offset the bill as a seed for God to give him twins. cheesy

You got it right. Its an arrangement

Does anyone knows the circumstances behind the whole thing apart from what the headline says?... people like claiming victims. The hospital is also run by humans not aliens.. the people working there are earning for a living and they can’t go abt footing their bills if they don’t get paid by the hospital at the end of the month

Because the general hospital is running over capacity because it is cheap. Therefore everyone goes there.

Unlike the private hospital.

No general hospital is running over capacity in Nigeria. Some of these medical practitioners in Govt hospitals are saboteurs. Even when equipments are donated to them they make them redundant just to make sure that they can refer patient to privates hospitals which they own or have deals with. Nigeria is a rotten country but I know things will change very soon. #BAT2023

They would have gone to general hospital at least it would have reduced the bill. I am wondering how the hospital that seized the new born baby over a month been feeding her. I hope someone or the government comes to their aid.

It’s not a charity organization but an organization where people work to earn a living and also to foot their bills
True. But the family initially cut their coat according to their cloth by going to a general hospital. The state government ought to intervene in a case like this - after auditing the bill (some of these private hospitals can't be trusted).
