OAU students even started exams between Christmas and New year (on 28) while some had papers on 03/01, will they stay at home and expect there supervisor to get into the examination hall and meet empty hall?

I think we need to start addressing things like this. University management usually set the calendar for the semester and everyone is expected to abide by such schedule. No lecturer has the power to override the university senate's decision. These are the things politicians do and we are quick to pounce on them.
I want to assume this is a wake up call and will not add to the final grade otherwise the affected students should speak up.

I don't see any problems in this. Surely holiday is over and time table has been released. The lecturer showed up, so what's the students excuse. We need to be serious in this country, that's how students take this laxity into life and one day we cry people are not doing the right thing.

Was the Test announced or impromptu? I believe it is the latter else some students would have turned up. I guess the students might have offended him and he chose to take his "pound of flesh" at the right time. Congratulations to him
