There has been so many threads on the state of Anambra & the Governor's inactivity lately so I decided to embark on a research to find out why the Governor who promised so much before his first election has even left the state worse than he met it.
Findings: His bank Fidelity Bank.
I discovered that Anambra money has become the capital and solid rock of this bank. Fidelity bank might not pride itself as having more customers than many banks today, but they sure have more money than many banks. I think Anambra Money is the reason why Fidelity stands strong today. And it would not be healthy to make huge withdrawals from the bank to undertake projects, thats where the 'Saving Anambra Money' slogan came from. SMFH. Now why would you save a public money when one day you will leave & another person will use it as he finds fit? And more so the underdevelopment caused by 'saving Anambra Money' is robbing the state of its economic potentials and making it a backward state... Anambra people need to be enlightened.

Another reason is the SabMiller beer factory in Onitsha. The governors personal project which he is using state funds to build. Recall that when peter obi was impeached, all work stopped at the factory and the 'owners' said they were going back to SA because of lack of rule of law or something, only to come back when the governor was reinstated. LoL. This factory is projected to be the biggest of its kind in Africa and the governor is determined to complete it and commission it before he leaves office. These two major factors are the cause of absence of quality and remarkable govt projects in the state.
I must say I like what is going on here, the pressure that have been raised on Abia state govt has seen the Governor getting to work lately but sadly orji has not done worse than obi but he got the hotter backlash so lets move the spotlight to Peter Obi. He seems to be getting away with so much. No infrastructure, No nothing. And please all these self appointed Ndigbo leaders on Nairaland should please stay away from here. Igbos are independent and dont need any 4king leader. This is about economic development. No tribal coloration

op might be right but peter obi doesn't embezzle anambra state money trust me,he might be a bit slow and he knows that the next governor will want to use that to call EFCC on him so he will keep his records clean and difficult to probe

Every person from Anambra knows that the only two achievements of Peter Obi in Anambra was to his advantage and was not fair because of conflict of interest.

The first achievement was saving money in Fidelity bank. Why not any other bank? Why the bank you were chairman and held the highest shares at? While there were doctors striking for 13 months for increment of their salaries and decaying infrastructure in the State, Peter Obi hoarded the state funds in the bank which he was chairman. Let's face it, how many people were banking with Fidelity bank then? Without Anambra state's billions in the bank, Fidelity bank wouldn't satisfy the threshold of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Even his own money was kept in safe Havens while he hoarded state funds there for his personal interest.

The second achievement is the investment in the brewery which his family has interest. We all know that the money invested is a waste and the people of Anambra have all suffered a loss on that investment.

You got to realise that that year was a year to the Anambra Election,everybody have a favorite
And you know what happens before election in Nigeria and propagandas fly up and down during those times
