Good morning Team.
I have a 2004 Kia optima V6 with cylinder 4 not working, spark plugs and fuel injector has been changed but the cylinder will still not work. What else should be looked out for and replaced. Thank you
When you say cylinder 4 is not working, how do you mean?
Run a compression test to be sure you don't have a stuck or bent valve.

Hello Gazzuzz and the TEAM... Help out, please.

Toyota Camry 2011 goes off, mostly when decelerating or brakes are applied from high speed.

Pops check engine light, was scanned and got the following codes:

P0171 - System Too Lean Bank 1
P0101 - Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Range/Performance.

What should be the culprit?

Also, car was bought as tokunbo and driven for 2 years now but gear oil has not been changed. Is there need to routinely change gear oil?

Engine is 2.5L 2AR-FE I4 with 148k miles; routinely serviced with Mobil 1.

Please help out.

Thank you.

Good Evening Gazzuzz and the Team,

I own a 2012 Toyota Camry. Recently my car refuses to accelerate. When I try to, it accelerates for a while and drops all of a sudden and the car starts moving slow sometimes it might even stop. I took it to an auto technician, We’ve changed the Throttle body and the PCM but the issue still persists after a week of driving. Please what can be the cause of this issue?
Re: ASK GAZZUZZ by dayon2012: 7:47pm On Jan 07, 2023
I will advice that you scan the car, thats the best place to start. My personal experience with a mercedes benz with the exact issue as yours, i found that the plugs were bad and the noozles needed to be cleaned. Once the noozles were cleaned and plugs changed , the car was back to its best.
As i said earlier scan first. Initially i thought it was the fuel pump or the throttle body but they were after all. So scan and post here so that you dont end up changing parts you really dont need to change.

Water keeps drying up in my Honda civic 2008.
Could It be because I don't use coolant?
Mechanic says engine is in perfect condition, but I'm baffled why it keeps getting dried up easily.
Note, radiator was changed to double cell sometimes last year and that was when I noticed it began.

Carry out a coolant leak test on your car to know where it's leaking from.
It could be leaking from your radiator cover, ruptured hose or pipe, or from a burnt gasket.
In the absence of a coolant leak test kit, visually inspect your cooling line (hose, pipes, and thermostat housing) and radiator cover for any rusty part, that's a weak point and a point of escape for hot and expanded liquid, also inspect your radiator cover for turn rubber or weak springs. If your car is equipped with an heater core, you might need to inspect that as well.
What the history before changing to a double cell? Nasty overheating?
What's your location?

An idiot truck reversed into me and broke my radiator. That was why I changed it.
I'm thinking of buying a new radiator cap to try out though.

Check engine light is currently on, ABS, brake and tire pressure too, speedometer does not work.
Car also stalls occassionally when coming to a halt

For your PCM code, you might need to check the wires if it's broken.
Check the pins in the brainbox harness connector if any is bent, broken or missing. You can repair those.
Check the socket if it's well connected.
Apart from the occasional stalling and issues stated with the car, do you have any drivability complains?

You have a voltage short.

Bad device or bad wiring .

Remotely it will be impossible to fix

Thanks for your input, changed the plugs and stalling stopped. Pcm code also gone but the P0500 came right back up so know the culprit

Good evening house. My 2012 Toyota Corolla has leaking for brake fluid, I took it to mechanic he found there was a pipe that cut so he bought another one and replace it. I found that the brake system was very loose after the pipe replacement, i took it back to him he said he will bleed the air out. After which ABS light pop on my dashboard, I complained to him immediately he said because they touched all the 4 wheels it will go on its on, but it is still there on my dashboard. At oga Gazzuzz and the rest is there any reason for concern? Note: the brake system is okay now

Oga Gazuz good morning. I use a Toyota camry 2004 4cylinder. I got a tokunbo engine from ladipo in December. The engine works well but sometimes it rough idles especially when in traffic. Also it shorts oil little oil. Every two weeks . It goes slightly below the high bar of the guage. My mechanics says it’s because the engine was drained and down for a long time and it would stop after another servicing. What is your opinion.

Also, Before I changed the former engine I experienced something that started with this engine too. It feels like theres a massive carbon build up or heat stroke. When you start it up in the morning? Its fine . Delicious for 2-3 hrs too is fine. But if you do a long journey you begin to hear sounds of exhaust(sounds not smell) from the inside but it’s perfectly silent on the outside. If you go out and put your hand close to the exhaust the pressure of heat is always more than normal. If you stand at the passengers side for too long too, you’ll start sweating. My mechanic suggested decarbonizing the engine with all these machines. What is your opinion on decarbonizing an engine and are there side effects?

For the rough idling, you will need to scan the car then post codes for remote assistance.

For the exhaust, I suspect your catalyst is blocked.

For the oil shortage, there's nothing like giving it time to heal as advised by your mechanic. If the new engine is burning oil, then there is something wrong with it.

Could be anything from speed sensor, to a faulty gauge cluster.
You can scan the system for better direction.

Ask your mechanic to go over his work again.
It would be difficult to diagnose remotely since the issue started after you changed the arm. It's possible they've knacked the hell out of your outer thyroid while removing the arm and the shock wave affected your rack.

The only thing that can make your steering turn to the right on its own off my head is the power steering motor malfunctioning.
But as I suggested earlier, your mechanic needs to go over the job then inspect the rack and the steering motor.
