The economy is already bad, engine sellers have to sell, mechanics have to install, aluminium scrap sellers have to buy and sell, these people matter too. let us stimulate growth and spending .

same thing happened to me when i first bought the same car, later realized there was an error somewhere by the manufacturer on some of the model, and honda released another belt routing and also change the belt num to 7pk2164, below is the new routing am currently using.

u can talk to ur mechanic he will know the nearest in number that can work maybe 2165 or 2163, if there is any number like that.

Good morning sir

I have a little complain about my corrola belt and have changed 4belts in less than 6days as they always cut. I have not used the car again since the last replacement 2days ago, as am afraid of the belt, mechanic have not been able to check why the belts are cutting off. Secondly a strange noise from my engine like a rattling sound, mechanic even said its the stainless round rings in the engine, which I gave him 7000 to change, but the noise is still there. Yesterday he called at work that it is the timing chain, which I gave him money to change, he changed it yesterday but the noise is still there. Am tired.

Which car should I choose from Nissan Sentra 2002/2003, Chevrolet Aveo 2004/2005, Kia Rio 2003/2004 and finally Honda civic 2006 ? All manual except the Nissan Sentra. I was told to run away from Mercedes Benz for now

My Honda Civic 2005 jerks when it's shifting gears (especially when cold) and just yesterday I heard whining sound while I was driving and the gear refused to shift (first time this has ever happened).
However, when the car attained operating temperature it shifted noiselessly and smoothly.

I also noticed that there is a crack on my gear case at the point where the gear seat is mounted and oil is leaking oil (the top)

Please can you advice me on what the issue is and what to do?

I am really bothered.

Fake belt are being sold as new or Belgium have proliferated the market. My mechanic suggested if I ever wanted to change my belt to buy it myself because as it stands even he can't tell which is original.

And now the transmission is so sluggish in moving, won't want to climb a very small hilled road and it is not counting gears...
