If kwankwaso had 5% of respondents supporting him solely because of his tribe, it'd have been represented on the chart.

No, it could also be because they were the ones that experienced his government, therefore know enough about him to support him. In fact, a lot of people say Kwankwanso's popularity doesn't extend outside Kano to other NW states, that should tell you something.

Peter Obi and other candidates with supporters outside of their tribes do so because of the work they've put into creating alliances outside their tribes. Kwankwaso hasn't done the work prior to 2023, he's doing so now, so don't be surprised when you start seeing supporters of Kwankwaso in even the SS, SE and SW in future election cycles.

Kwankwanso has major numbers even outside of Kano. Some projections even have him winning states outside Kano and those have not experienced his govt. A man in Sokoto Imo Ondo has never experienced Kwankwanso yet Kwanwaso has higher numbers in Sokoto than in Imo Ondo or Bauchi

Cant we say People in SW experienced Tinubu govt and likely support him as such using your example?

I haven't seen any poll showing Kwankwanso winning a state outside Kano sha, and by major number do you mean 12%?
