why would people allow that ? Nigerians do not really understand what the Government really is and the powers that it has over the property and the masses that constitutes the state. This man has no right to use the states money to buy SUVs for anybody, How can he be using the states money as his personal wealth. State funds should NEVER be used to prop up obsolete traditional stools! That's my belief from Day one! Buying of cars for Emirs or Igwes or for Senators and House members as Wike did few months ago, is like using state funds to buy cars for your girlfriend because you are a governor! My views on that have not changed and will NEVER change! They are constant! Use state funds to build up the state infastructure! Schools, hospitals, roads, Power stations etc. In my book, Obi was wrong there and I ruthlessly came down on him! No apologies uptil today!

If Peter Obi wins the presidency today and starts to use federal government funds to buy cars for The Oba of Benin and The Obi of Onitsha, I will write worse things than the over dramatized post above here! I'm not like some platoon of inebriated agbadorian numbskulls that follow a senile man off the cliff because he's their ethnic champion. My views on issues related to corruption are so strong that I will suggest the death penalty for misuse of public funds! I live my life like that. So to clear you agbadorians; was Obi wrong in my book for buying these cars? Yes! He might have his good reasons that I don't know, but I still disagree..

That said, let me state it here that at the end of his tenure, Obi put Anambra in the map! He built a new Teaching Hospital from scratch! Almost a new university from scratch! Almost all major hospitals in Anambra were reequiped and I can personally attest to this because I have a relative who worked closely with him. Schools, roads, salaries! Obi does not mess around with state funds! Infact, his security details were even complaining that he doesn't dole out cash like others and will stop money bags visiting his office from doing so. The man is a fresh experience, pure fresh air when compared to the witch and wizard representing The PDP and The APC!

That's why we are championing his cause for the presidency! Those of you who have quoted this post a million times should know that where i come from, leaders are criticized when they're wrong and praised when they're right! It may not be easy for you lot to understand this culture because somehow, you guys have turned your corrupt rulers into some demi-gods. So yes, I still disagree with Obi on the issue of the cars for the traditional rulers, but I totally consider him a selfless leader, willing to use state resources to better his people! His days at Anambra State speaks volumes!
