Now to my original post, what it meant was, Buhari who is very popular in the NE got 48% of the votes in Adamawa in 2019 (while Atiku got 52%), so because Buhari is no longer on the ballot, it's natural that Atiku will try to take over the state because it's his home state. Now, APC's target will be not to lose the whole state to Atiku, so they will try to get at least 25% of the votes which is a realistic target.
