I can't agree more. Siemens Energy PPI back on track 25000MW (25GW) transmission capacity by 2025. Already edge around the 10GW transmitting capacity. Waiting 4 yrs to 2027 to be 20000MW generation would be regressing. We rather move forward than backward. Obi, get you facts right. Inbtw, Obi's quote of Egypt is misleading. As at 2014, Egypt already hover around 40GW and 2022 moved circa 75GW(Gas and Solar). What Egypt is busy with now is ramping up on the transmission from around 50GW to match up with her new 75GW generation capacity. Obi has so many things in common with 2015 Buhari apart from the age, both can promise to wake the dead even though it's obvious it's impossible.. Everything is just possible for politicians that has nothing to offer. |

obynzo:I am not talking of NBET. There have been IPP powering some infrastructure at Ayinke House and at Marina. If you know MG Motors warehouse in Ikeja, the power plant has been there before Buhari came to power. Same thing is applicable to that of Marina. |

obynzo:Looks like you have KG boy’s brain. Who’s talking about national grid? I said Lagos state was circumventing the law that says any power generated by a state that is above 18 megawatts, the excess of this 18 megawatts has to be sent to national grid. When they say national grid, don’t think of high tension wires on the bush in the way to your village. National grid can be the next NEPA transmission line that is closer to where such power was generated. |

Credit must be given to Buhari for finish the hydro power projects and thereby increasing power generation, now let the new administration work on transmission infrastructure. Tinubu already said he intend to build that like a super highway, now Obi is saying the same. In all, I’m glad those two believe in continuity in governance… whoever wins is all good. |

All Nigeria needs is common sense and a departure from the norm….from the forces that in one way or the other have, for the most part, been running things from 1966 to date. Notice how things were steadily, even if slowly, improving during the OBJ and GEJ years?….Then the anti-progressive forces took over again, and things went downhill from then onwards! Yes…the current constitution is a stumbling block to achieving a fair and progressive Nigeria….but like i said, there needs to some form of departure from those negative and retrogressive forces for this country to stand any chance of survival….both economically and as a country! Tinubu and Atiku DO NOT REPRESENT THAT DEPARTURE FROM THE NORM….Obi does! Even if said departure is not as radical as one would have hoped…at least it’s a start! |

MeineMutter:Bros Lagos only generated power for their Alausa offices likened to how offices use generators for power. So no big deal you have already provided evidences based on your admission that ot was used to power their facilities. Stop imitating your messiah in lies and propaganda ![]() |

Emir01:EXACTLY. He does that because he knows most Nigerians are intellectually disconnected from happenings in the country, so would not question his STUPID AND FRAUDULENT 'promise' to deliver what is ALREADY BEING DELIVERED AS WE SPEAK. The Siemens power project is part of the Presidential Power Initiative established by Buhari to overhaul the transmission system, and enable it to distribute 25,000 megawatts by 2030. All Obi had to say, if he wasn't a fraudulent crook, was ''If elected, I will continue with the Presidential Power Initiative Siemens program to ensure our power targets are met''. NOT make it sound like there was nothing going on, and HE would come in and start afresh with new ideas and systems to deliver '20,000 megawatts'. I hate deceptiveness. |
