I fail to see why this is preferable to wooden bed. It is immobile, dangerously hard and likely more expensive. Maybe they're checking the long term cost sha. Like after 100 years.

My thoughts the first time I saw this in a hotel in Lagos, I checked out immediately the next morning. Anything can happen in Nigeria.
