Have you factored that these babies will have to spend at least six weeks in the incubator? At the very least! The incubator must have constant power and oxygen supply and must be kept in sterile conditions always. They will be fed intravenously and given routine medication daily. They will be attended to by neonatal medical personnel round the clock. All these cost money! And remember, the hospital is a business organisation, they need to make their profits. If they're competent and well equipped enough to handle 6 premature babies at once, they deserve accolades and the rights to charge that amount. 3m for each child is like chicken change compared to what they're charging for same care in other countries.
