At the APC primary, Tinubu said he did not need Ibo delegates to win. So they boycotted him. He went ahead to win the primary without Ibo vote, and faced against oposition from within the APC heirarchy.

At this point what we want is for Ibos to boycott APC at presidential election. If Tinubu wins it means Ibo is a politically inconsequential tribe in Nigeria, and Africa as a whole. But if Tinubu loose at the polls, then we need to pay attention and any candidate looking for victory need to romance Ibo going forward.
