Are you saying Dangote will dash Nigeria PMS or will sell in Naira? Dangote will still sell in dollars
There is no difference importing and buying from Dangote.
Part of the solution to depletion of FX is national refining of d crude we produce.
Even though that is a minute problem as there are more than 150 Nations in d world that import PMS for citizens use. Our government is just lying and using that to embezzle money and to give excuse for a decaying economy that they can't manage.
..
Yes he will still sell at high price nuts it’s going to be in naira..with NNPC 20% stake in the refinery..there will be little control on pricing from the government.

Nope! But I have been asked to get a double cell radiator, Incase I might want to travel far (outside Lagos) with the car.

Can u explain the rational? What's d problem with your single cell? Is it leaking and can't hold water again??
Are you using coolant or ordinary water?
Is ur fan not blowing properly?
Is ur top cylinder gasket flat?
Is water pump weak.
What is d relationship between long distance travel and double cell radiator?

Cos my car still travels and I am using the radiator that came with the car since 2007

If there is no law and consequences, people will still do the most obvious wrong things.
Set standards and let the system be profiting. People that can't afford it should stay away and drivers driving for fun should b dashing out the excess money they make.

LOL, at the Google attachment. (AskGoogle clan)
You asked "How will saving dollars strengthen your naira?"
It's called External Reserve. The more you have in your external reserve the stronger your local currency, in this case the Naira.

So how much dollar do you think we'll need to have as reserve before our naira can become valuable?

This is a good question, I will share from personal view as well as what my fellow e-hailers are doing.

1) I utilize a 4 plug engine car for this business to save cost but if yours is 6 plugs you are not at a disadvantage though.

2) Make sure your engine or other fuel associated parts are in good conditions too, cos some fuel mismanagement may be due to this fact too.

3) Your choice or ride pick matters too , it's not a must to go pick a rider whose destination away from you is 22 minutes yet his real travel time to where such rider book is 15 minutes. I do ensure to add both time it will take to reach rider and their final destination to know if it worths such price before picking. I won't be able to do this if I'm doing higher purchase or rental, desperation makes some people pick even the worst or weirdest trip.

4) Conserving fuel while alone, you don't want to consume your fuel without a trip. Sometimes you can pack at an eatery, chill there buy a soft drink or something that can afford you relaxing in such place till you get a trip. Don't sit in the car with full AC on. Know that you are also consuming the fuel.

5) Peak temperature periods, these hours from 9am - 5pm see most cars being hot internally due to rise in ambient temperature around 27-34 deg in must part. Note that traffic is also with those hours sometimes, I could decide to do few trips within these said periods but diligently hit the road from 6pm-9pm as I will need less AC or sometimes I crave the indulgence of my passenger that I won't be able to on the AC throughout except we hit a traffic cos of high cost of fuel. Most do cooperate while some tyrants ones do complain but we still head on.

I use Honda Accord 2009, full tank @ #169/litre costs me #11,500. With full tank, I make #85k-#95k though I get more than these sometimes when I get tipped by riders. So, let's do the maths.

#85,000-#11,500 = #73,500 (mind you, I sometimes blow free from some long distance when I'm tired or closing for the day. I'm not a full time driver)

Fuel Consumption Ratio : Revenue Ratio

11.5 : 73.5 or 1 : 6.4 (I understand when I'm below this ratio likewise when I'm above it.

How will saving dollars strengthen your naira? Increase in demand for your naira ought to strengthen it. So, by asking buying countries to buy using naira increases demand for it there by increasing it's value. A simple search on why Kuwait's dinar is so strong returned this: see image.

Why do you think USA currency is so strong today ? It's because they have so much dollars in their foreign reserve. There was a certain time USA had economic issues this guy Obama had to release enough dollars into their economy to stabilize it . Most of these foreign investors that bring investment into the country first look at how much your foreign reserve is na wetin dey give them confidence
Take venezuela and ghana for instance foreign reserve if our foreign reserve was large enough I bet you naira no go dey exchange at this current rate and one of the ways of increasing the foreign reserve is by saving
Nigeria currently spends a whopping sum of $50Billion dollars importing refined product annually Telling buyers to buy in naira that one would be very difficult

The universal benchmark (quote authority) not crvdriver bench mark.
