So long as we remain dependent on oil revenue...we are going to take loan after loan.

This is not a defence of this government...just a statement of fact. Infact, if Obi wins, he will take a lot of loans, and he won't take them for 'development projects' he will take them for 'frivolous things'...and Obidients will defend him

The thing is, Nigeria needs oil at 130 dollars per barrel or more to have enough to meet our needs. As ar 2019 it was 133 dollars per barrel.

If you want to stop loan taking, you have to be prepared for several years of hard suffering...but the end would be worth it. You have to remove subsides on everything, ramp up exports and brutally punish corruption. You have to stop pretending as APC does that we have enough money and can build things.

The loans we have taken over the years are why we are not having things like delayed salaries for 4 years or more.

So, if you want loans to stop, better do the hard choices we need to develop. Stop pretending that oil can sustain us. It cannot and it never will. Nigeria must industrailze, remove subsides, and improve its income from taxes.

You are going in just a few months!

There's already gbese of 40 trillion or more!

Yet you are borrowing some more trillions!

Why?

The corrupt NASS is actually in it together because they are the ones approving these loans ...... My prediction: The NASS will approve it again...

Shebi a lot of people will still vote APC. Most Nigerians don't think ahead and easily forget the past. A society is a reflection of its people.

Well to me, there is nothing wrong with taking as much loans as we want from the CBN as long as such loans can be accounted for. If such loans can be accounted for and they are channelled into areas that brings returns, then no problem.

We have more control over loans from the CBN than the other debts we take. The only possible challenge there would be inflation and devaluation of the naira as a result of excess printing of the naira, but this would be a much lesser issue if the CBN loans are channelled strategically to the Agric sector in such a way that the sector brings quick returns to the economy and the loans are been paid back by the sector over time at low interest rates.

Shut up, go and check the debt of Kenya, Egypt, Ghana and South Africa, even US, but many of you only criticize without requisite information on the issue talking about. borrowing is not a crime, borrowing is part of strategic decision formulated on how to run government for needs of the populace while it's a crime for failure to show what the money used for to the people.

Some will say that they were deceived into voting in Buhari the failure but it is the wickedness of their hearts that pushed them.
All the politicians do is to appeal to that wickedness you already have in you.
Hwe reallly didn't have better alternatives in past elections.
Atiku was a better option 2019, we were yet to recover from the damage of the last PDP government.
