Just as you have the Arewa logo and Oduduwa logo, the Rising sun logo on Hero's beer is the emblem of the former eastern state that has been in existence even the emergence of Biafra. The defunt Biafra and later IPOB adopted a modified version as their emblem.

A little research by Reno and your foolish self should have given you insight on the origin of the Rising sun emblem and its relation to the East.
