He was never a fraudster. Anambra state was hijacked by political strongmen. A state where a sitting Governor was kidnapped. Criminality was the order of the day. Educational and infrastructurally backward. He made the state the most secured state. He is the only Governor to declare that any house that harbours kidnap victims should be demolished and the land confiscated. Educationally, from 27th position, the state came to the 1st position. It was during the Check the cost of projects in Lagos state and see how indebted the state is. Obi's prudent management is even extended to his Vice Presidential candidate. He said that he will drop his presidential ambition if the Vice Presidential candidate is proven to be corrupt.
