Nelson is using the treadmill already. BTW, we are now linked with Jesper Lindstrom. Boy is good. He is right footed but predominantly plays on RW. Better than that scammer judging by his YouTube video. grin
Make we sha shock all the haters and get solid players. If 3 Players injure from the XI,........hmmm

I have very low expectations of Arteta using our kids from the academy. To a reasonable extent and only for this season, I don't blame him and that is because he came into this season with a ton pressure. This season was the do or die for his position as head coach considering results from the previous seasons and our offseason acquisitions.

Consequently, I knew he wasn't going to risk anything and that includes developing or transitioning players from the academy into the first team this season. He needed to produce a dominant season and youth development would have been a distraction, even though that has not been his forte. Considering our performance this season, I expect better from him next season in this regard.
casemiro misses arsenal match

Olise is not a winger. He is just versatile.

He's been deployed there majorly. Naturalizing that isn't going to be bad. Plus learning double with rae talent under Arteta will be such a big big one for everyone

Spy and Kokane, I saw Una mentions thou.
It's surprising how almost everyone (including professional players and pundits) see that thing as offside except PGMOL. I can go on an on with examples but let's just move on to other discourses...

Anyways, Sunday have been set perfectly for us. It's our home also. Hopefully, let us make it count. We need to!!!

Influenced? That is exactly what happens to fake friends...they get influenced to change their stand with you. Or he didn't really know what he wanted. Just because some people start whispering different things to his ears and he had to forget his long time ambition which he sang and danced about in the public...then he is feeble minded.

Anyway, he is in the past now, let's forget about him.
Lol... You're doing it as if he owed us anything? News flash: He doesn't!!

He liked us, arsenal liked him, Chelsea liked him. If it was personally within his power, obviously he'll be in North London not South(abi West).
We both brought bid and if arsenal is that desperate for him to join us(just as he had shown that he's desperate to join us) then they would have outbidded Chelsea but obviously that's not our model. Moreover, Ambition or money or family or all three can influence anybody especially someone who doesn't owe anybody anything.

Well, it's all over. We move, hopefully we'll get someone better.
We lost Vlahovic to juventus and got Jesus
We lost L. Martinez to Man u and got Zinchenko.

Nobody that's is present here will say he isn't happy with any of the two signings.

Hopefully, we'll definitely get someone better cool

We just need to watch United CM’s , make sure they don’t send defence splitting to the wide areas when we are up in their half attacking .

Once we are able to prevent this , we are assured of a win against man utd . Man for man we go outplay dem , na just make we no lose focus like we did first leg .

One day one day it'll rear it's ugly head again and we'll revisit this topic again.

I believe our Midfield.
If our defence and attack can be fully focused, especially that attack cos they need to be clinical, then I see us getting 3 points.

Martinelli needs to be up and doing against Wan bisakka cos that guy is a beast defensively.

It'll be a big physical battle between Gabriel or Saliba and Werghost. Thank God he isn't that skillful and fast. And most importantly, we need to be wary of Rashford runs in behind defences.

If this happens against us and they score. The goal will stand par the rules.
Unless there’s a change in rules before that.

No wahala, make we dey watch.
Na time I no get to even do matches research on this stuff na why.

EPL refs are never never consistent that's my issue.

I remember Liverpool Vs wolves (2days ago), they played a ball for Gakpo to chase and as he was chasing it, the defender following him kicked the ball out for throw in.... Yet the linesman raised the flag for offside and ref blew(in the first half)

Mind you, Gakpo didn't touch the ball yet he was deemed offside.
I read a post where spy said you need to touch the ball to be deemed offside and I just laff reading it ystdy night

Like I said... Pundits, footballers and ex footballers didn't just become ignorant of this rule all of a sudden!!

But then, no wahala

I hope Xhaka and Odegaard will train freekick this week. I have a feeling Saka/Martinelli will get fouled on the edge of the box and we will need to take advantage to break their spirit.

Because the defender touched the ball, even in FIFA video games, they won’t blow offside unless the opponent saves it.
Read the part I circled

You need to read the rule books and set whatever you think aside.

Another thing you need to understand is that being in an offside position is not an offense, it’s the actions afterwards that are highlighted that will be infringement.

Read the very first statement on offside par the rules.

I’ve circled that for you as well.

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 8:43am On Jan 19, 2023
There is a difference between offside position and offside offense.

Rashford was in an offside position, he did nothing afterwards that translates to an offside offense

Good, this is another of the rules clearly stated and that's because Gakpo was involved in ACTIVE PLAY.

So how is Rashford not involved in active play when he made that dangerous run to that dangerous zone? How is he not involved in active play with respect to this rule
