Agbado urchins and mikano bandits have been saying that Peter Obi won't win all SS states, that Atiku will win some. Others also say that Tinubu will get 25% in many states here. Such fantasies can only exist in the head of daft people and I will explain:

1. SS and SE are the base of Christianity in Nigeria, just like NW is the base of Islam. NW has never voted for a Christian when a Muslim is contesting, so why would anyone expect SS and SE Christian to act differently?

2. Out of 11 states in the SE/SS, 9 used to be in the same region and they shared a lot in common. The other two i.e. Delta and Edo also lean towards East than West despite being in the old Western region. They usually supported Azikiwe than Awolowo and that was why Zik reciprocated by helping them have their long desired referendum that culminated in the emergence of Midwest region.

3. Everyone with brain knows that Peter Obi is by far the best candidate. So by merit, he is above the other two old men with fraudulent past. So why would SS people abandon their brother who is more competent to vote outsiders who are not?

4. When the West and North ganged up against GEJ, a son of SS. The two regions of SE and SS also united to back Jonathan thus preventing him from being disgraced. It shows they always have each other's back.

5. Peter Obi has promised to open up the ports in SS region. With the discovery of oil all over Nigeria and the phasing out of crude oil in the international market, SS is fast losing out in terms of economic and political influence. The only alternative left for the region to bounce back is by ensuring that its ports are fully functional. Tinubu and Atiku doesn't care. In fact, Tinubu will rather block the SS so that all the ships will be going to Lagos alone or even Cotonou to enable him maximize his tax collections.

6. Why would SS people vote for Atiku and Tinubu who ganged up against Jonathan their son instead of Peter Obi who supported him throughout his tenure?

Don't you know that anyone who comes to any polling unit to support Atiku will be at risk of being mobbed?

Igbos both indigenous and settlers are many in Rivers.

The people are enlightened and knows what is best for them which is Peter Obi.
