Over the years a lot of cars have being grounded due to security issues, some starting from having lost the key and another could not be programmed to the car or electrical failures ,module failure etc. A way around all this is to off the immobilizer so the car will run without the security system, there are various ways to achieve all this.
1.edit the flash or eeprom on the ecu so it does not run a security check after starting.when the car starts the ecu communicates with the immobilizer to confirm the status ,if ok, it keeps running, if not ok, it shuts down , usually withing a second or two. After the edit it will just start and not run the check with the immobilizer
2. Provide an emulator to act as the immobilizer, this will trick the ecu into thinking the immobilizer is ok and it will run normally.
3. Disconnect the immobilizer and rewire the ecu
4. Completely change the ecu to that of free code if available
Immo off is a very broad service as there are hundreds of different ecus and the approach are all different

I don't understand.. do you fix immobilizer?

why go through all that when you can have a second/third key cut and programmed to your car
