Crocs are afraid of Hippos. A hippo would squeeze a croc to death. Hyenas would just be stomped into the ground by hippos.

They have 3 inch thick hides that hyena teeth cannot penetrate and they weigh a ton or more.

A pack of lions cannot take dowñ a full grown elephant.lions attack on baby elephant who are still dependent on the elephant troop for protection.two if an adult elephant is injured as a result of a fight with other elephants.but an adult elephant is busy minding it's busy and a pack of lions decide to attack.it always end in failed attemt.
Likewise with a full grown hippo.lions will attack baby hippos or wounded hippos.but not a full adult nasty hippo that wants to go into his swimming pool to cool off
