People should not be hating and camparing nelli with Leandro already. They are two different types of players. In some games Nellis style may prove effecient while in others it may not. Same with Leandro. The difference here is that Leandro is a Nasri type player who although may play from wide will always drift inside given his technical ability and football understanding. This is a guy that hardly misplaces passes and it's good that we have variety of options in the wide areas. What a game. I literally cancelled all my Sunday activities in a long time to watch arsenal play. Old times are back and the players did not dissapoint. Please if Mancity ever have another Zinchenko, they should sell to us oh. Every week that guy's level is above 100 percent. It's incredible and gives the team a massive lift. His interview crowned it all where it showed his impact even in the dressing room bringing in a whole new winning mentality. |

Jencejyde:For me I’m not comparing him with Mart. I’m only happy we now have options on the flanks. With ESR back and Jesus loading we now have options in attack to add energy and another dynamics in dying minutes. |

Jencejyde:No one is hating martinelli stop spreading false claims Martinelli is currently losing it there's no harm in trying trossard |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jencejyde(m): 12:33pm On Jan 23, 2023 |
iamoyindamola:I'm not spreading any false claim, just stating opinion based on most reactions to his performance. He his not losing anything, the lad has just had some below par performances so saying he his Lossing it shows lack of understanding of the game from you. Trossard is just a different type of player who offers something different. Fair enough Leandro can be tried to provide healthy competition and overall squad depth which we have been missing but in no way should that mean Nelli is all of a sudden not good enough. |

kokaneprodigy:In fact having that different type of dynamics in the same position makes the team look stronger. That's why sometimes Man city just move a second gear when they can take out foden and bring in grealish or remove Silva for Marhez. Makes it difficult for opposing teams to know what to expect. Indeed great times with the building of squad depth |

Shegzdave:What did Guardiola teach Kompany and Xavi? They were just players that played under him and that's where it stops. It's Just like Ndidi or Iheanacho becoming coach in the nearest future and someone somewhere lumping them with with Kolo Toure as Brendan Rogers' protege. We all know It's Kolo Toure that understudy Rogers while Iheanacho & Ndidi are just players who played under him. |

Jencejyde:Below par performance is same as losing it na oyingbo different Trying alternative won't be bad after all if we are not performing these guys will leave for better clubs |

BlueRayDick:For Kompany, you don’t know while he was still playing under Guardiola, he was going for coaching school and you want to tell Me he won’t learn thing from Pep? Moreover, me appreciating Pep is cause of Arteta.. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 1:14pm On Jan 23, 2023 |
Shegzdave:The picture u posted mentioned 3 young coaches whose teams sit currently on top of their respective leagues; of the 3 young coaches only Arteta actually worked under Guardiola as an assistant manager....Yet the person who created the picture is claiming Guardiola thought them well.....What excatly did he teach people that never worked with him? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Shegzdave: 1:25pm On Jan 23, 2023 |
BlueRayDick:Grabbing one or two lessons on coaching from your coach is equivalent to learning under him if the player knows he’s going to take the coaching lane like Kompany did..I told you Arteta is the main reason why I’m appreciating him more and nothing else. |

iamoyindamola:Hahaha I don hear you oh. Just felt given the fact that it's these same youngsters that have taken us this far, one should just be a bit patient with them especially in times where performances may suffer a bit. Well for the good of the team, I'm sure the manager will make the best possible decision |

iamoyindamola:The mistake u keep making is thinking Mustafi, Papastapopulous, David Luiz are good defenders that will perform in a decent team. Those aforementioned players are terrible defenders and that explains why we needed to get rid of them at the beginning of our rebuild . You are not wrong that Xhaka and Guendouzi were not the right fit for our midfield as well too. That’s why someone like me supported the signing of Gbariel , Partey etc instead of being fixated on whether defence , attack or midfield wins u games/leagues .Once u have players who are not right-fit for the team on any part of the pitch , it will always show in your results like we had it back then. All in all, kudos to Arteta for going for his own kinda players , Edu for listening to him and helping him get those players as well as the young Kereonke making the funds available . |
