The thing that is making harder for Nigerians to renounce their citizenship is because its only the president that would sign the renunciation certificate |

silvoclaira: No big deal nah. Did we not have some US and UK citizen back then that renounce their citizenship to join ISIS? Renouncing citizenship differs from having dual citizenship. This statistics is not about people that have japa or taken up citizenship of other countries ooo. If they release that one you will just faint. Even almost all of our politicians and their family members are citizens of other countries. They just did not renounce their Nigerian citizenship. Remember that our former Senate President (Bukola Saraki) was said to be also a British citizen while he was even Nigerian Senate President. |

lemme prophesy into someone's life, though I'm not a false prophet. Now spread ur legs wide opened, while placing ur right palm on ur head and say:Every ancestral power, every territorial Nebuchadnezzar holding me back to the country with the green white green flag, disallowing me from venturing into the land flowing with milk and honey, preventing me from gaining access to greener pasture, your time is up, fall and dry up Omo me sef follow say amen for this prayer o |

IgOga: Baba, stop the painting. Nigerians are tired. Did u read that just in 2022 alone, Nigerians renounced their citizenship more than the total number of those who did same in 7 years? hahahaahahaha! That is pure evidence of terrible state of the country. In 2022 alone, immigration issued the highest number of passport in Nigeria's history. All these point to one thing: Failure. We blacks hate truth and I dont know why. 1 Like |

I am sure this number is much higher than reported. Why would any reasonable person want to be a Nigerian? If every Nigerian has a choice, I can guarantee you that not too many people would remain as citizens of this hopeless, useless, and failed country. What benefit has Nigerian citizenship conferred on anyone other than suspicion, scorn, and rejection? Absolutely NONE! |

Lol your lies have been exposed. According to him, 150 Nigerians renounced their citizenship between 2006 to 2021. In 2022, however, 159 Nigerians renounced their citizenships. The Federal Government has said at least 159 Nigerians renounced their citizenship in 2022 alone. KwaraRat: |
