Nothing can depress me.

You tell me I look like this or that and expecting me to be sad...and you see me smiling. You try trolling, I see jokes. You try insult, I read its literature. You try mockery, I see low esteem. You try oppress, I see inferiority complex and seeking validation. You try jealousy or envy, I avoid you.

🙂

I'm auto-happy.

Long life is the goal.

You get the point Wella. It's not about what is thrown at you. It's about the way you see it. Some see abuse. Others see constructive criticism to be better.

I see anyone who bodyshames people as one who isn't sound intellectually, is bereft of knowledge and reeks of idiocy, even if you're a professor. You can have a distaste of a person's look, that's normal, some people are less attractive than others, but let it remain in the mindzone. Once you purge it out your mouth you're not any better than the person you're bodyshaming.

Work on your body and the things you eat.... you'll only feel body shamed when you actually knows there's something wrong with your body.

Ps
Unless you have a medical condition that won't allow you work out you have reason to be recklessly fat and obesed

Body shaming isn’t about being fat.

Why you go dey even shave your beards when u know say u no get body? Comrade it'll even make u More smaller. Learn to keep hair (having full hair on your head) and also hit the gym or lift heavy objects to add some muscles.

If u no want muscles, then eat lots of calories to gain fat
My bro I swear I be foodie, but I no dy see where the food dy enter.

Well mine was by my very own father he use to say I have big nose and big head all the time and my siblings will laugh and he used to say it repeatedly ooh, but then I was so stubborn and arrogant I used to intimidate my direct elder brother so my father always say those things each I have arguments or fight with my older brother, I think my father was just trying to help reduce my ego or what ever. But since i became an adult nobody have ever said that to me even jokingly but though I have big nose shaa but I be fine guy regardless. Each time I look in the mirror I use to touch my nose till today and I always remember my father.

Reduce the number of times you masturbate or better still avoid masturbating, so as to see the outcome of the food you're consuming. Also try hitting the gym

As a child/teenager, I was bodyshamed for being tall and skinny. I felt underdeveloped because in spite of my height, I still looked smaller (age wise) compared to my mates (I was that skinny). It was such a struggle😪. At a point, I was called “baby” by some group of girls because I had no pimples. Thinking about how hard I prayed for pimples makes me laugh now. Wahalurrr

Glory to Jesus! I am still slim and tall. I have a perfect body. I have a normal BMI. I am healthy. I still look younger than most of my mates but I am no longer ashamed. Infact, I count it as one of my blessings. By the way, God gave me the acne I asked for and I’m still dealing with the spots😪.

I think the worst thing about being bodyshamed as a slim person are the assumptions people have and the unsolicited words of advice and consolation. They assume you’re not feeding well. They tell you not to be bothered because you’ll add weight when you birth your first child😪. They advise you to eat 100 square meals per day but gbogbo eleyi ko neccestri 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm so happy to read this. Some crazy words have recently popped up robbing us of our joy, love and kindness.

"Sense of entitlement " is another that has been severely overused or wrongly used recently. There existed so much joy in sharing and kindness until these big "grammars" came up

The 'sense of entitlement' phrase sickens me above all. You see parents using it on their children; brothers using it on brothers; sisters on sisters. Even those you have been very good to in times past would dare use it on you because you want a little favour.

To ask for assistance from those whom you know and are supposed to have your back isn't as smooth as it used to. Anyways, I just sit back and observe these days. I know that at the roundtable of life, everyone will have his shot. sad
