How
If you remember how we fell to 3 straight defeats last season you no go even break arteta head for even putting him on MD squad
I remember berating him last season thinking that he was a 6 and all. But after analysing his game and reading research on him, I found out he wasn't really a 6 or any type of DM for that matter but Arteta wanted to build him as one. It's the main reason towards the end of last season I told Spy that he'll excel as a Cm and not a DM not to talk more of a lone DM.

This season, Arteta doesn't plan to use him as a DM, so I understand he's being used there out of necessity. Even though I will critique his game but I wouldn't be harsh as I was last season were I was all over him.

I don’t know why Arteta keep playing him in that DM position since that Man Utd first leg, they should be fast with the Caicedo deal cause Lokonga isnot the best alternative to Partey and Rasta man is injured..
He can get Xhaka kind of redemption if he’s sent on one or two loan spell to develop himself. I’ll be glad if he improves.
Have you been following Nuno Tavares in Marseille, that dude will be good as a winger cause he score goals in the team.
Well, he should go on loan first, let's see if he'll improve.

As for Tavarez, he's dipped and his positional awareness and positional indiscipline is now showing. He was good first few months of the season but recently his being not up to it

His many matches apart was the two matches?

Imagine playing DM for months, then you now switch to Cm, then you now switch to DM again.

No wonder his progressive passes was even hit ystdy plus he showed signs of rustiness

I understand your point bro but I won't blame Ode. Sambi has been training with Arteta for more than a year now yet doesn't understand basic positioning. He was ball watching for their goal and his bad positioning made it difficult to press City. It is just emotion but I won't blame Ode.
Odegaard is the captain of the team, he should know better and exhibit better leadership qualities. Me and you can show frustration and cuss Awilo out, we are fans, not Odegaard! It doesn’t matter how poorly he played on the day, his action has simply pitched the kid against Arsenal fans. Part of your job is to protect, especially your young ones as a leader.

But Ode's poor games always come once in a while. Even at that, he can't be totally poor. His pressing and positioning will still be there. But Sambi....
Arteta has shown a ton of improvement in his management skills. Did you listen to his post game? He showered praise on Awilo, you think he doesn’t know Awilo had a horrible showing or has been poor for us? But he has learned that stuff will be addressed with Awilo inside the locker room and on the training ground, not in public.

Please I am not saying Awilo is the 2nd coming of Viera, not even Diaby with 1 leg sef. He has been poor for us and has struggled to develop but that doesn’t excuse Odegaard’s behavior on the pitch. He is the captain of the team, he should know better. If he chewed him out inside the locker room then that’s a different thing.

did you see that game where xhaka bottled a glorious chance against brentford in the first half? One on one with the brentford keeper on his strong left foot and he decided to square play to a wrong footed teammate who misfired the ball

In my opinion and from a player perspective, all I saw was 9utburst of emotion. When you are on the pitch busting your guts out and one player is not on the same wavelength, it's very possible especially if you are the type with an infectious attitude to winning and high performance for you to let it out .

There was a game we played where we were leading the opposition during Europa league back then where ESR and Nelson staters doing some flips and tricks. I remember Xhaka as captain told them off right there on the pitch. Now they did not react badly but rather toned down and kept it simple till the final whistle was blown. For a young player to become good he must learn how to accept critism at times whether publicly or not. Football is tough and you must be mentally strong.

Sometimes it may seem as if the telling off on the pitch may look bad but it's very necessary at times to always get players in tune and maintain high level of concentration. It's the reaction of that player been told off that matters.

Football is a team sport and for you to excel you cannot have some players being passengers and sometimes that little kick helps tune them back.
Sambi for me is going the way of Pepe. If he feels that he was being picked on rather that keep his head up and prove through performance that he is up to it and can hold his own.

I can bet that after all said and done Ode will still go and meet him to speak with him letting know he just needed him to concentrate but it was in the heat of the game, nothing more.

If he reacts badly then that's his problem not oDes own.

Winning sides do not carry weak mentality personnel. If sambi feels bad about this then would he even cope in team with Viera or Roy Keane?. C'mon this is no time to be a softie. We have titile aspirations right in front of us and we must be physically and mentally strong now

See the players in question...Woods, Target, Burn...Lol

Guimaraes and Trippier are good players so is Isak however he is very inconsistent...I think they upped their mentality, they now approach games differently.
Eddie Howe is a brilliant manager no doubt. Newcastle knew what they got. He is doing something similar to what Arteta is doing in Arsenal.

The point I am making is that, placing all the successes of the club on the managerial effort makes it skewed. That means ignoring the investment made by the owners.

Mind you, Newcastle were able to attract the likes of Trippier, Guimares, and Isak through big contracts. It's all part of it.

This is the amala turning I certainly dey taya for your side. Just months ago, you said this which I and Oyindamola countered

Emphasis on the words "heavy spendings. Two months down, you've shifted "Newcastle not paying high and talking about quality players"

Note, we weren't debating about player's quality around November but Heavy spendings due to Arab money. As you've turned the Amala to quality and caliber players today, that's the template you'll now use In debating and attacking me months to come.

Exactly how you did with Nketiah and Jesus!!

I no wan go any further. I just wanted to show you how a great amala turner and debate shifting king you are.

Happy weekend to you Sir!
But my stand hasn't change in terms of heavy spending and salaries so where is the amala turning. Or you just want to gain petty sympathy?
Who dash Newcastle up to 63m for one player before if not Arab money?

I am glad it's not just a two way argument because everyone in football can dig out what's true and what's not.
Reality is that it's you who turns amala on argument.

If not, say it again that Newcastle's upturn this season is solely because of their manager. Say it again.
