Man receives beating of his life after kicking soldier gallon at filling station (video)

There was chaos when a group of soldiers got into a scuffle with a man at a filling station during scarcity.

A man reportedly kicked one of the soldier’s gallon out of the queue and it infuriated them to the extent that they dragged him out.

The crowd at the station watched in silence as the military men told the erring man to lie down on the floor and they brought out whips to discipline him.

He did not commit any crime by kicking a can(even if he did they don't have the right to assualt) but the soldiers committed crime by assualting him.

When will people learn to stand in the path of Justice.

No where in the world were sane people inhabit wouldn't condem and discipline the soldiers for assualting the citizens they swore to protest with their lives.

If he has offended the soldiers or erred their duty is to arrest and take him to the police station for investigation and prosecution and not to use extra judiciary means(jungle justice).

That man should sue the Nigerian military and ask for millions as damage for the humiliation.

Sanity must return to this nation whether some Nigrrians like it or not, this status quo can't continue.

So I will wake up by 5am to go to que at a petrol station to buy fuel then one person will come with his keg by 7am and try to ‘chance’ me on the line all because he is a soldier and I won’t kick his leg out from my front?

You meant to say few? cuz as at the last time I checked Soldiers are still the same folks countering insurgency in the NE. In the past couple of months, we have seen silence on the activities of Boko Haram and Banditary in Kaduna but I know people like you would act like nothing is happening or nothing ever happened neither give em accolades they should have, but when they see news like this, you're always ready to show typing skills. I get tho.

There would never be an escuse for committing a crime, that's where the law comes in.

The only time a crime can be forgiven is during self defense when one's life is been threatened.

Our soldiers are 'supposed to be trained' and no escuse as flimsy as a can been kicked can result to committing a crime. I will never accept an escuse for crime committed

Irrespective of the fact that we all should respect our military personnel, I will never be a party to support extra judiciary activities of the Nigerian military.

The Nigerian military has been violent against it's citizens for so long, that culture is what we see everyday. A military man looses his life, instead of the military to fish out the perpetuators they rather burn down the village where the incident occurred
One will never see this violence when they face terrorists.

They even met out this same violence to their own colleagues not to talk of the civilian populace. These culture of violence to civil society should stop, it should be channelled to protect the territorial integrity of the country.

Nigerian military needs a reorientation, this should stop.
