So sad, KD axis is a crazy area, it might be wise to get her to live with you or your siblings. Gone are the days when criminals had respect for the elderly, even if condition drives you to steal , its no excuse to hurt old people.

When such persons are apprehended, their criminals relatives on this forum will say no to jungle justice, that people have equal rights under the law, you wont hear them condemning this bad act because thats what they do.

This is absolutely heart-wrenching. So sad to read. I don't care about the robbers, they are doomed already for all I care. Both them and their offsprings if they have any.

My prayer goes to the poor mother. May God grant her strength to ris above this trauma.

Insecurity is ubiquitous across Nigeria now. Drug abuse and poverty is turning people into demons.

It is in situations like this, I question myself if jungle justice is actually a great form of punishment for criminals or not.

God visits the sins of fathers on their children. That's why generational curses exist. The pain and trauma caused by these criminals is not only felt by the victim (the poor old woman) but also by her children and loved ones. The same way you don't expect the son of a serial rapist or murderer to enjoy a good life except they re-dedicate their life to God.
