I am facing the same issue, I applied two weeks ago for myself and 4 dependents. Their approval came the next day, I have not seen mine. I have chatted the customer care. They asked me to wait for the embassy to respond.

I stumbled into this approach here and it worked for me...


Hi, I believe you dissociated your dependents from your profile. You need to follow the steps below:
1. When you login into your account, confirm that the family details tile shows “0”. If yes, then you will get a date shortly. If not, go to step 2 below.
2. Call or have a live chat with CGI, let them know about dissociation of dependents from your account and how they have gotten an IW date but you have not. They will ask for some details (passport and email) and they will review your account. Once they notice the family details tile is showing a number other than zero, they will ask if every dependent had been totally removed. If you confirm that, they will escalate your case to the embassy to clear the number. You will get a new case opened and it should be resolved in a week. Finally, you will go through the process of getting a IW date and in 24hrs you should receive the email to select a date.

This was was my experience and I noticed send several notes through the feedback option was a longer process.

Hey in my dad’s cgi profile, my mum is a family member and in my mum’s cgi profile. She has no family members. Is this going to affect their request to schedule an appointment?

What’s the average time it takes for them to accept your request to schedule an appointment for interview waiver?

I submitted my application for b1/b2 visa (IW) on the 13th January. Till date, I’m yet to receive any email for documents submission . I sent a mail and I got a response that my application is being reviewed.

Please can anybody profer any solution to resolve this?

Good afternoon my ogas, trust we are all fine, last year I travelled to the US for a security conference plus vacation, spent 6 weeks, my visa expires next year, would like to go with my wife for my next trip of 12 days in April , her interview is December may 2024 searched for date countless times not seeing closer date, someone adviced i call the embassy and explain, I humbly request for your advice please

You can go alone or better still fill in another ds160 form and update the number to your appointment portal.

I got a Cruise Ship job as a Cadet( Trainee) and have been issued a letter of employment. Now, my worry is the unavailability of Continuous Discharge Certificate in Nigeria, as NIMASA currently only issues a temporary Discharge Certificate. Please, can I attend my visa C1/d interview with this temporary issue?? I have my other required documents.

I and my husband has renewed our US visa via Dropbox 2022 . As at the time we picked d date I haven't given birth to my baby den . Please my question now since she doesnot ve visa . Are we to look for a date . Or we are to write d embassy since she is a minor just 1yr and 3 month. This our third US approval and we only gone once for just two weeks and came back

No documents asked although i went with bank statement, cac documents, marraige certificate and letter of IV!

Was asked
- why i was going
- how long i intend to stay
- relationship with who i am staying with
- what i do
- reason for my extensive travel history
- and why i was in canada and uk last yr!

Thats all
Pls note- have got a valid canada visa, uk expired oct last year , valid china and multiple visas of different countries!

Please how can I go about getting date for B1/B2 interview

Hello all,
Thought I should share my IW process here.
I initially picked Abuja for my physical interview, filled the form in August 2022. When the 48 months extension news was announced, I was excited but sadly Abuja was really slow, after 10 days (Jan 5-16) of not getting a confirmation email to proceed, I switched to Lagos by creating a new DS 160 form got a new application number which I filled in the CGI portal, within 2 days I got a confirmation email.
My visa expired Feb 6, 2019, so I had to get a date before Feb 6, 2023, on the 19th of January by sheer luck, I got January 24th for document submission.
Timeline
Submission at DHL office VI-Jan 24
Created- Jan 25
Approved- Jan 31
Issued - Feb 3rd.
Picked up- Feb 7th
