I saw and used the cowry card for the first last year may when I went to passport office last year. Before then, the last time I boarded BRT was early 2015 and it was ticket then. I approached the vendor, and she said I need to buy cowry card for #350 and load it with cash which I initially pissed off but later obliged to do so. I noticed the way they placing the card on their pos machine and that was the way it was shown in this video you are disputing.
I tell you, if you are well versed with technology you won't continue to wallow in this your ignorance

Where is that guy that said we don't have the technology? Wait until Cowry extend this offer to iya buka and aboki suya. Tap-to-Pay and QR payment is the future of payment in Nigeria. POS will die a natural death.

Do you know that those pos machine has variety ways of operating. I've only use the card for 3 times, they only placed the card on the pos machine to load and not insert, I experienced this from Obalende and Oshodi terminus.

When POS came to Nigeria to replace value card, I was privileged to use and train people on how to use it. In fact, I met with one of the people that brought to Nigeria and even confirm his through Access bank staffs in those days
I can categorically tell you technology is advancing hence the need to place the card on POS machine

It's a criminal card.
This has been in use on BRT Coach buses and shuttle .
The card keeps counting after you alighted and clears any balance you had left.
I stopped using it a long time ago, doing cash only
