We have failed to adapt to Everton’s game plan. We are too predictable and Dyce looks like he did his homework pretty well. |

This loss is so predictable. Arteta struggles with ingame adjustments, especially when opponents are more coordinated and beat his original tactic. |

Jorginho na woe. But this lack of taking chances really messed the game up. What a loss. Hut Onana and Maupay played their part. What an oddd loss. |

Jorginho isn’t why we lost this game, don’t get me wrong, you guys already know how I feel about him. Everyone played poorly from the first half, except the CBs, I maintain. We lost this game because of Arteta’s inability to adjust or make changes to his tactics when teams nullify his original plan. When you look at the games we have lost or played poorly, it is the same narrative. |

Nketiah is good but I still think Arsenal team is missing Gabriel Jesus. He has a way of unsettling defenders either pressuring you to commit foul or unconsciously drag them out of position making the team lose shape. Everton was so compact and even initial good gameplay from arsenal wasn't enough to put them disarray. |

Roland17:i agree. But Jorg killed tempo 3 times. Arteta is like opposite Pep in this reluctance aspect. Pep dey overthink, Teta dey slow to think once they are outplaying us. Dunno why |

Nketiah needed more than pressing today. I think these guys were ready for him with his preference for footwork over headers. The wingers didn't even attempt well enough. Saka side was really dealt with by Vitaliy. White today was off on both attack and defence. But regardless of this loss, pls someone beg Odegaard to hit the gym asap. That was 7yrs push and he couldn't even fall down or push back till He score the goal. That's highly unacceptable to me. I blame him for that goal. Then see the chance that Nketiah provided for him, he just target stadium roof. That should have been a goal. Trossard and roof too. He had some decent spaces. But guy looks rattled. Arteta needs to add some style that helps individual strengths when attacking. The attack was too disjointed today |

My Thoughts On The Game of Odegaard was off today. He wasn't that bad but we didn't need an average Odegaard today. Unfortunately, that's the side that showed up and he capped it off with being at fault for Everton winner Martinelli hardly beats his man nowadays and he isn't daring enough. This is like the 2nd game Trossard is coming in for him before the 70-min mark. Hope he's taking note .I noticed how our Midfield was an express way after we 0conceded the goal. I'm not sure we've ever being challenged head-on in attack by our opponents when we're trailing this season aside today's game. I just hope we've not bought seniorman Lokonga. Who noticed how we didn't quickly build out from the back after the goal? Nketiah wasn't bad today but today really needed him to get involved more in games especially when we had issues breaking down the defences from midfield. He was really really isolated. One of the times he did that, he created a good goalscoring chance for Odegaard which the the latter spurned. I just hope it was a precaution that Partey was taken off and that he'll be ready for next game. I just hope also Arteta won't make same mistake of subbing Partey when we weren't winning. We just need to keep our heads up and look forward to Brentford. A loss but we still have the aces in our hands!! COYG!! |
