Why detain a serving Senator of another sovereign country for almost a year when he has not actually been convicted of any offence and then the government of his country keeps mute

You forgot that it’s not just about him, it’s about the entire country.

If someone so highly placed can be so unjustly treated, and yes it’s unjust to detain someone for this long without conviction, you should be worried about what can happen to you and your children under similar or even lesser circumstances

And under UK law, He is charged with committing a crime in the UK and he being legally detained in the UK until his trial because he is a flight risk. His title doesn’t matter to anyone anywhere outside of Nigeria and if a British lawmaker committed a crime inside the UK and was considered a flight risk, he would be sitting in jail just like Ike. I’m not worried about this happening to me because I have regard for human life and obey the laws of the country I live in.
What you should be worried about is how your government is paying a senator salary to sit in jail in another country. He is earning more per day by just sitting in a climate controlled jail cell than his countrymen are earning per day working in the heat under dangerous conditions.

No, he isn’t a minor but organ and human trafficking is still a serious crime so his age doesn’t matter.
Being sick doesn’t mean that you can’t break laws without consequences. Hundreds of UK citizens are on dialysis, some elderly and sicker than this woman, but still follow the laws. Sonia wasn’t coerced or deceived either, she’s an adult and able to make decisions free of her parents’ influence. She was willing to accept the kidney even after knowing how she was getting it.
