The man talking is a compromised yoruba leader.
We yoruba will encourage everybody to do what is right and proper ,not rejecting aspirations.
No doubt he's got some people following his dictate,very biased .
He is 80yrs but not 80yrs in wisdom.
I don't blame many if this politicians,they come only when it's election time .
As an unknown party ,you need to work with people for at least two to three years using money and selfless work before they will follow you.

I dislike the bandwagon effect, people should be allowed to decide whether the candidate is a decent person aside his party. Lack of knowledge of the presidential candidate of a given party should not be a basis for condemning all other aspirants in that party. I may not like or even know Obi but have absolute trust in Otti. That is how it should work. Why would one opinion leader speak for others in a democracy? When they give him the money, will he share to them all?

Matter what you give them in Egbeda/Ona Ara they won’t vote for you. They are in love with Akin Alabi. He’s trying in that area. He’s a grassroots politician. Other parties can’t get 50 votes there

Over the weekend, leaders from different communities and walks of life within Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency gathered to discuss the future of the constituency as the country approaches general elections in days.

While discussing at the meeting with the presence of Accord party Federal House of Representatives Candidate, Akinjide Kazeem Akinola, the leaders unanimously rejected the incumbent, Akin Alabi over his numerous failed promises during the 2019 electioneering campaign and how he has been shamefully garnishing around to deceive people again to enter his hook come next elections.

One of the community leaders who speaks angrily expressed his unpleasant situation of the constituency and how the incumbent thinks he can fool an elderly person like him and others for another four years of failing representation.

In a video obtained from the public meeting, the elderly man was seen tapping his grey hair and boastfully stamping the rejection of the incumbent Akin Alabi of APC and narrated how all he promised before mobilising for his 2019 elections became non-existence history in the constituency.

"By the Grace of God, he (Akin Alabi) won't win the election. We said we want a hospital, he said we should not worry about that, and he will bring 500 units of blocks and other necessary materials, but till this moment, we've not seen a single block from him, and he still wants us to support him. We're not fools, and won't be fooled."

"I was told he was here some days ago to campaign, unfortunately I wasn't around, on a sickbed. Maybe I would have bursted his campaign of lies and let him know that we're not those he can be a fool in the name of politics."

Teslim is from Oja Igbo area of Ibadan North-East Local Government area of Oyo State. It will be very hard for you to say the Governor of the state will have total control of the Ona ara/Egbeda local government area. The local government is controlled by Akin Alabi and Micheal Taiwo even though he lost to Akin Alabi in 2019 National Assembly election
