The same Obaseki who refused to set up taskforce to checkmate the fuel pump price in Benin they sold it 700 before protest broke out, now all banks in Benin don’t even have cash on their ATM yet POS is the problem, is when the people can’t find cash at the ATM then they will result to pay whatever charges POS operators are charging them

When fuel has been selling for over 450 naira for the this long dem no set up task force oh , na poor pos people their power reach , imagine I entered long atm queue to get cash na 1k each everybody can take for an entire day . More hardship about to hit the streets, Pos operators will be forced to close their kiosk and stay indoors while the masses will now find it more difficult to get cash.

These idiots in power do not understand the law of supply and demand. The POS operators are not the source of our problem as they depend on the banks as much as us. The POS machines and the source of money are supplied by banks. Assist the CBN in their current crack down of banks hoarding this currency. If you clamp down on POS operators they would go under ground and the situation will be further exacerbated. If not for them it would have been worse.

I use to give cash to POS free, as a business man. I learnt a hard lesson when I brought my customer to one POS girl I used to give cash free, she charged the guy 1k for 12k, when I confronted her, she told me she even did it like DAT because of me DAT e suppose be 1k2h,. Now i now sell my cash 100k is 10k. I no no dey messy whose pos guys. Last week I made almost 50k. I come dey vex y I no start am since, because I been dey give free since dis brouhaha started. Until d girl made me get sense. I have said it times without number Nigerians doesn't deserve nice ppl

Am not an operator, but I know most of these pos operators do buy the cash they are dispensing from both individuals who queue at atm points and sell what they withdraw or bank staff, so all their expenses trickle down to the end user.
