In the video below, former Governor of Imo State and serving Senator, Rochas Okorocha, has called on President Buhari to release IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu. Rochas made this call while speaking at a tribute event held in honour of late Mbazulike Amaechi on Tuesday at Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre, Abuja.

Mbazulike Amaechi was Nigerias first Minister of Aviation. Until his death in November 2022, aged 93, he was the last surviving minister of the first Republic and one of the last of the founding fathers of Nigeria that fought for independence. Mbazulike Amaechi had before his death, led a delegation of Igbo elders to visit Buhari, requesting that Nnamdi Kanu be released

Nnamdi Kanu will be released by Buhari's successor. That guy is influential and powerful. As a result, Buhari fears he may cause more problems for the country if he's released.
