All because of their support for Obi, these people have to bad-mouth the legacy of this great man. This is highly disrespectful! Some of his Obi supporters are even saying Fela's music was over-hyped by Yorubas. Can you just imagine! Is this the type of people you want in power....Yoruba ronu o! Cc Seun 12 Likes 2 Shares

People are really taking this election very personal. INEC should please be neutral. Fela and Awolowo children are depending so much on their father's names and legacies without doing much to create their own names. Imaging many great grand children of Awolowo still bearing 'Awolowo' as their surname. They can't bear their fathers' and grandfathers' names. Still bearing great grandfather's name as their surname! That is not good enough. Create your own name! 16 Likes 1 Share |

Seun has rightfully gotten into their skin and it serves them right. Everyone has the right to support any candidate of their choice but these psquare and Obidients in general think it’s by force to support that repackaged thief called Obi . 16 Likes 6 Shares

This is very sad and unfortunate. Why are Obidients so disrespectful and insulting? Why? Funny enough a wood in that shrine is greater than the entire career of psquare. In the past, only candidates were insulted during elections. Today, obidients insults and bully their fellow voters. This has to stop. Else, it will graduate to physical attacks and when it does, na the same obidients go lose because they are in the minority compare to the mikanos and Agbados 19 Likes 5 Shares |

Now I know this Peter Okoye is an Idiot. Someone should remove his father's name? Why don't you remove Okoye from your own name and just call yourself Peter? Besides, the Kuti family has paid their dues in this country. So, don't even go there. 12 Likes 4 Shares |

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. All of this argument because of politicians that will still reconcile on the 26th of February 2023,the next day after the elections. I believe Peter Okoye was very very wrong to have insulted Seun Kuti on his indifference to who will emerge as the Next president of Nigeria. I have said it several times on this forum,it's time to educate Nigerians especially the youth on what Democracy is, everybody is allowed to choose whichever candidate they feel best supports their cause. Peter Okoye shouldn't believe his candidate is better than that of Seun Kuti,I think it's time the elders cautioned Peter Okoye on why he should stop the unnecessary harassment and bullying of anyone who doesn't support his choice of presidential candidate. Asiwaju is my choice,I'm sure he will win the election, some others believe Sowore, Atiku,Obi, Kwankwanso and the other 13 presidential candidates will win the election. I therefore have no right to Insult, blackmail, harrass or Insult anyone's choice. Enough of these unnecessary bickering. God bless the Abaml Eda,the man whose name will line forever in Nigeria,Fela Anikulapo Kuti. God bless Nigeria. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

ElSudani: When Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, Fela's mum, was fighting for independence and attending conferences in UK, Mazi Okoye of Anambra was climbing palm trees as the village palm wine tapper. When Seun Kuti is showing non-partisan political consciousness, the Okoye's are busy showing tribal partisanship in support of a failed Governor of the state they all cannot live in. They do not know about democracy having been bastardized by IPOBocrazy that does not respect human rights or dissenting opinion. What is even sad is that they show this partisanship because of a typical political prostitute who has no honour or integrity, and is very desperate to become President. 8 Likes 1 Share

That’s the character of Igbos, he’s plainly envious of the Kutis achievements. Wait and see, their unguided rude attitude has started even before obi emerge. He won’t win jack shit 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Throwback: This is pedestrian, drab, and intellectually lazy. How does a simple exchange between those two automatically graduate to what their parents did or didn't do? Did you need this line at all to make a coherent stance?
What "non-partisan political consciousness?" What does that even mean in the scheme of things? What concrete, pellucid, transformative consequence has that resulted into? If you would bracket your bias a second, the dude is only constituting a nuisance. He has nothing concrete to Nigeria's political narrative. He's riding on his father's anti-corruption political narratives to satisfy his obsessive compulsive attention cravings.
Neither Paul not Peter is hostile to dissenting political stances. The issue here is that the seun kuti called Peter Obi undignifying names. Any supporter would rise in support of their principal in such instances. That's what "P Square" did. Switching political parties doesn't make one a "political prostitute." There is no moral, legal, or customary law demonizing changing political associations. If a party doesn't suit my ideology or is derailing from the ideal path, I shouldn't be confined into some pseudo loyalty to such entity. Isn't that crystal lucid? We can learn to shelve our biases when analysing issues. |

LiteratureClass:Oftentimes, some of you talk without consulting your brain. Was 'Awolowo' Obafemi Awolowo's personal name. Wasn't it a surname he himself met and used through out his lifetime? Besides, what's wrong in using the name of a respected, honourable and a revered predecessor in one's family line. If Awo was from my family, I will use the name too. Who no like better thing? 5 Likes 1 Share |
